A co-worker of mine sent me over a great link for working with your Virtuals (if your using MS Virtual PC 2007). We all know that these VHD's get huge pretty damn quick, and I haven't had any luck using the "compact". Turns out I was going about it all wrong.
- First you have to run the precompact, which ships with Virtual PC 2007
- Shut down your Virtual
- Compact your .VHD
